Barrett Hayton passing into skates like 4X in that period.
a simple pass to the trailing forward twice and he missed them each time

On a positive note I liked the physicality Canada brought that period. During the years where Canada was basically unbeatable in this tournament they always played a high intensity physical game and that energy and physicality always seemed To wear down opponents and make them shrink in games. Need to get back to combining that physical play with the skill they have.
To be fair, 65-yr-olds today are more into 60s-70s classic rock.Nothing gets me excited like slow-paced country music. TSN needs to stop trying to make this tournament appeal to your 65 year old uncle and embrace the youthful energy.
Well, you’re just not watching, then. That’s a ridiculous statement. Cozens chance, Hayton and Lavoie clear looks, etc.
Look out if the US coaches figure out that playing their best players together 5v5 will lead to goals.
pretty good period. thought Canada did better 5 on 5 and the US excelled on special teams. should be a good game. hope Canada stays disciplined and hits the net more.
"High and wide!!" On repeat.
