THE HUT HAS BEEN ORDERED

Letting your uncle eat tonight?

Steve brought up goals above expected. Does anyone know why that stat is not a per game stat and is cumulative considering how wildly different starts are for goalies? @Machinehead
Same reason basketball goes by per game instead of total. Cumulative points in a basketball season would be too large to effectively digest.

GSAx in a game would be too small to digest. Saving a goal above expected per game is a Hasek-level season.

Saying a guy saved 56 goals in 65 starts makes more immediate sense in your mind than saying a guy saved 0.67 goals in a game.

I wanna say we add that as well up here in orange county.

They were the precursor to Cambridge ArmorTec pavers. I can't see a sidewalk without thinking of that old man's granddaughter yelling "I'm the chairman of the board!!"
ArmorTec was a huge exclusive for Cambridge!

Well as someone who frequently looks at goals for per game and understands that better than cumulative, 0.67 would actually make more sense.

$70 at Pizza Hut?!? Jeez! How many people is this for?

I don't think I've spent $70 total at Pizza Hut in my life, even when it was actually somewhat decent back in the 80s. No offense @bobbop
Did you check the deals tab before you ordered?

@EdJovanovski you In Canada? That would explain a lot.

My parents are having 1, I’m having the 2 cheese ones lol, do those prices look higher than US prices? Ours are actually cheaper than other parts of Canada, like Quebec charges like nearly 20% tax on this lol

Really, so why does it seem like it's never the per game stat that gets quoted? Is it to get rid of goalies that played like 2 games?

Yes and no.

They wouldn't have built up the numbers to really matter after enough games so it's not like they're getting cut out, they just will be passed by good goalies who have gotten the games.

You can check each game individually to see how a goalie does day in and day out.

Igor has done this so far (all situations btw)

xGA: 2.23 actual goals against 1 (+1.23)
xGA 3.03 actual goals against 5 (-1.97)
xGA 2.36 actual goals against 1 (+1.36)

Cumulative xGSA is 0.62.

Soderblom in Chicago is #1 in the league right now (+6.6 - He's done this in 2 games!)

$70 for 3 pizza's is not that bad. I mean it's barely pizza but its hardly absurd (even more so when you factor in CAD vs USD.)

A good pie around me goes for 40+.

I write this just as MSG ran an ad for Dominos, which is even less Pizza than the Hut.

Everthing is more expensive in Canada. The first time Pizza Hut sent me there I got quite an education on food costs and pricing. Tariffs are a big part of it.
