this Arizona top line has hemmed in our line twice now.

Both times it was a failed clear and tired line. That's something I we used to do a lot in previous seasons but it's very uncommon now.

I'll never understand why players don't just go get a stick or change. That penalty's on Toninato being useless and Appleton getting stuck out there.

In the first period and the third period with the short change there is no question, you are better off giving up a 5 on 4 for 5-8 seconds than being hemmed in for 40 seconds being only a shot blocking body. It's a bit less cut and dry in the 2nd with the long change.
