Burakovsky and Cups at the top. We've entered the Twilight Zone.

Thought this one was okay. Not amazing, by any means, especially considering Canucks are without Hughes, Hronek, and Petey. But okay. Grubs played pretty good for being Grubs. There are definitely goalies who could and will save all of those goals, bar the bounce off the foot to Sassons, but Grubs is not one of them. He still did alright though and did at least somewhat keep us in the game.

Burakovsky looked a lot better tonight. Probably his best game that I've seen in a while this season. He also looked a lot more steady and poised with the puck which is good. 2 points today to put him to 3 points in his last 5. I liked the PP with him on it too, hopefully we can get more looks at ES of that line.

The team has started shooting a lot more in the last couple of games which is good, and we've been mostly rewarded for it.

Main problem has been defense. Still way too many giveaways in the neutral zone, we seem to always get caught on long shifts and changes, and our coverage in the d-zone kind of sucks. Beginning to wonder if it's a systematic coaching thing instead of just playing like shit, but probably both.
I’d love to have Conor Garland on the Kraken, kinda feel like he’d be amazing with either Beniers or Wright
He's small but feisty and gives it his all every shift. He's a surprisingly pretty good cycler too, although his defense was never amazing and from what I hear has gotten worse in VAN, but he always backchecked hard on Arizona at least. Probably would be nice to have lol.
