No Laine, No gain.
Good thing we have 2 Lanes then. It ain't a one-way in Montreal...No Laine, No gain.
Any injury to an important player like Suzuki, Caufield, Laine and the Habs are done. Lost the 2 games that Laine missed most of.
I want Drouin to score against us.
It's only for my entertainment purpose. Juste pour rire.
Struble is capable of. Losing Suzuki though….I think any injury to the defense is harmful. A Suzuki injury buries them, as does an injury to Monty (who is being used more than any other goalie in the league).
Laine still hasn’t found his 5 on 5 game yet and hasn’t scored a PP goal in a few games now. The PP hasn’t been producing like it was. I’m not sure he’s really had much impact in 3 or 4 games. Still, I’d rather he was playing.Bet your house on Colorado. Habs are done without Laine.

I don’t care if it’s the Black Hawks’ theme song, it has found me and I can’t get it out of my head. I dunno why but it just puts me in a good mood, something I can use in case the Habs get shellacked tonight (not hoping for it but, not optimistic).
Good thing Suzuki never missed a game during his career , even during covid, Imagine Suzuki out for 6 monthsI think any injury to the defense is harmful. A Suzuki injury buries them, as does an injury to Monty (who is being used more than any other goalie in the league).
He's not having a breakdown of some sort is he?
Being out there on the 2nd line and keeping eyes on him lets Dach and Newhook have more room to operate.Struble is capable of. Losing Suzuki though….

lol, 30 years bottom 5 product. You can absolutely say what you want, but you aren’t entitled to your own facts.30 years with a bottom 5 on ice product I can say what I want. Tanking is the way
This is the problem with having a star like Laine play 60% of games, it seriously f***s with the lineup. Doesn’t matter how good you are if you miss every third game, you become a net negative.
Agreed, while the Habs have made great strides they obviously don't have the depth needed to live without one key player.Look at how Toronto has done without Matthews, Washington without Ovie. Half of the biggest stars have missed time this season already. A contender will keep up .500 without a single player.
Please play this song, while reading thread.
In the words of the lovely shower pooper....."what doesn't kill you makes you stronger"
Tonight...Game 2 of a B2B vs. an absolutely stacked team. Hopefully we come into this game stronger...more resolved.
Looks like Dobes will get the start.
Will Laine be back from his own version of the shower poops after having "flu-like" symptoms?
I hope that everyone will remember when we took out the trash by sending Drouin....but alas, he will probably score....so BOO at your TV everytime he touches the puck.
Finally, Hutson vs Makar. Perennial Norris winner vs that scrub from Colorado.
GHG!!!
