In the words of the lovely shower pooper....."what doesn't kill you makes you stronger"

Tonight...Game 2 of a B2B vs. an absolutely stacked team. Hopefully we come into this game stronger...more resolved.

Looks like Dobes will get the start.

Will Laine be back from his own version of the shower poops after having "flu-like" symptoms?

I hope that everyone will remember when we took out the trash by sending Drouin....but alas, he will probably score....so BOO at your TV everytime he touches the puck.

Finally, Hutson vs Makar. Perennial Norris winner vs that scrub from Colorado.

Yesterday was a trap game, but it didn't help the team played like crap. Even if they lose again tonight overall it's still a good road trip, .500. I think most people predicted .500 to be a great thing before it started.

It just sucks that 2 of the games we lost were against the 2 worst teams we played, so it definitely feels like a lost opportunity.

We need a good effort tonight otherwise this game could quickly turn into an embarrassing result.

Montreal is 3 pts out of a playoff spot but also 4 pts out of last. It can go either way.

They should just waive Pezzetta.

I hope Savard is back tonight at least.

Monty? Or Dobes tonight?

They need an injury free rest of the season to even have a chance to get the wc2. It's a tall ask.

You have to go with dobes. Monty leads the league in starts and you shouldn't bring dobes up to simply sit on the bench as that does not align with Montreal primary mandate of developing their youth.

I would have gone dobes in chicago and Monty in Denver but that's a different topic.

I think you go with Dobes tonight. I already said I would have gone Dobes before last night and Monty tonight, but it is what it is.

Going from 600ft elevation in chicago to 5,000 ft elevation in Denver on a back to back.

Yeah, the body isn't going to feel good.

Yeah this is going to be a very tough game. Not impossible to win, but I'm going in with very low expectations.

This pretty well sums it up. The big-picture progress is good news, but we live in the small picture. If I'm watching a game, I'm just thinking about winning it.

Not feeling overly confident about tonight and trying to stay Zen. Big picture, big picture, big picture....

Yeah, but it's the reverse elevation for their psyches – soaring high with confidence in the southern states to dropping back down to Earth in Illinois.

Hopefully both extreme shifts even each other out!

Sounds like Laine and Savy are out again today. I'd like to see these lines....

Heine - Suzy - Cole
Slaf - Dach - Newhook
Andy - Dvo - Gally
Pezz - Evans - Armia

Guhle - Carrier
Lane - Matty
Arber - Struble

Dobes
Monty

Back to back games and St Louis started Monty against the Hawks.
Stupid. Should have started Dobes against the Hawks and Monty against the Avs. St Louis decision making is not looking good.

Let’s make sure nobody says anything remotely bad about Slaf or you’ll be lynched. It was pretty funny last night when he whiffed on multiple shots and wasn’t moving. I say maybe he should be benched even for a period and I swear it was him replying to me. So angry. Love the guy but the compete level isn’t there. Hopefully he kills it tonight

30 years with a bottom 5 on ice product I can say what I want. Tanking is the way

The reality is it’s a rebuilding club, the recent hot streak shows that there is potential with the club and that it’s developing.

It’s not much more than that. Even really bad teams can go on heaters.

We’re not “in da mix” at all.
