When was the last time big dumb Slaf brought the puck in the offensive zone and did something a first overall pick would do ? He either coughs it up or passes immediately

This truly sums it up. When was the last time we saw him make an elite play? Last season he used to make some great passes and had some elite vision, but now the puck is like a grenade on his stick.

He can’t skate, he can’t shoot, he can’t pass, and he won’t engage anyone physically. Haven’t seen him make an elite play all season or show flashes of a #1 overall pick.

Unfortunately it’s time to admit we swung and missed with Slaf, much like we did with Reinbacher. Those two draft mistakes will set this team back years

Because Evans is on that line too. He has more goals and is more likely to win the draw than Dach. Every player on the “4th” line has more points than every player on the “2nd” line. Maybe the titles are misplaced.
