1-0 Colorado after 1 isn't terrible.

Good shift by Suzuki line. Sweet touch pass by Slafkovsky to put Caufield in. Kind of a weak shot.

Then Suzuki decided to try a drop pass to Caufield only to give it to Drouin. Not the best decision.

Good final minutes. Now stop taking penalties.

Caufield needs to stop those finesse shots between the pads and glove or go 5-hole. Just F-ing roof it!

I know Slaf is everyone's favourite whipping boy right now but I thought he had some good plays this period
I saw the same as you and I agree. But what I really noticed recently is that Slafkovsky usually reacts to plays, instead of seeing them a few moves ahead. He doesn't go out with a plan. It's normal in a game as random and eventful as hockey, it's the same for all players to some extent. But the special players are those that are able to dictate the flow at times. He'll need to develop this in his game because right now he's not the deciding factor I'm convinced he can be.

Also they need to shoot on net every chance they get. They won’t be getting many opportunities tonight.

Yeah. That aspect comes with experience too. He's got 150 career games and is 20. Patience esti!

He is able to carry the puck a lot more than he does this season. Is he scared of being decked and get a concussion? He needs to drive the net much more. Move his legs much more.
who knows eh? Big guys take longer to figure it out.
Our saviour Demidov is arriving soon though
;)

lol

I can't help but feel disappointed by the lack of ppg by Suzuki this season. He only has 1 so far. His wrist shot doesn't go through this year
