If the Bruins continue playing well and Buffalo isn't spoonfed PPs this should end up 5-0.

Buffalo is not good at all.

Keep the hits coming. Buffalo is finishing high, do the same.

With the smurfs
-The Krejci line was great
-The Bergy line had some good shifts.
-The 4th line created a PP with Blidh doing what he do best.
-The PK was awesome, especially Chara, on that gifted 5 on 3.
-McQuaid with a great shift creating a scoring chance with his skating :amazed: and finishing it with a big hit. Keep McQuaid and trade useless #86.
-Easy period for Rask. Team didn't give anything to these losers.

Get the next one and bury them.

Yep. He's there for his net front presence. And like I said, it's not like he's on the PP over a more talented/skilled guy. Who would you put over him on the PP?

Bergeron
Krejci
Pasta
Marchand
Spooner
Vatrano
Czarnik

They are all already on the PP. That leaves:

Hayes
Blidh
Moore
Nash

Is one of those more worthy over Schaller to play the net front presence on that 2nd unit? I don't see the outrage over him being on the PP. He should have converted on that Krejci feed tough. Any NHLer should be able to elevate the puck over a pad.

Agreed. Schaller ended up with lots of PP time because Backes was injured. Schaller takes on the same role as Backes in terms of being willing to stand in front of a goalie and take abuse--with much less finish, obviously. When Backes is in I expect Schaller to be off the PP units.
There's really not much to complain about here--it's pretty evident what's happening and why. If the Bruins had yet to reap any results from it, that's one thing, but it is pretty indisputable that Schaller helped Krejci get that huge goal by reeking havoc in the crease area. So he gets another chance today.

Moore. Straight away, has the puck skills, that guy can roof it from anywhere but he is very good at avoiding checks and could play the wall well, although its pointless cos you wouldnt put him in front of the net. But I reaaaaaaally like Moore I think he is so underrated although I think he over stick handles when he doesnt need to and his linemates arent always in sync with what hes doing (the hard wraps that always seem to be too hot for his teammates)

Blidh's a keeper. He knows how to get involved when the puck isn't finding him. He's noticeable almost every shift.

And then the shenanigans can take place.

The feel it this game is angry and I love it.

This is why I think division games need to be more frequent, look at Bruins Habs, its literally non existent these days and its a damn shame. Especially with how the league/media drum up the rivalry.

Moore has the sneaky skill in the way Shawn Thornton had it vs a Paille or Campbell.

But he is also on the PK.

I agree. We need more division games to fire up the rivalries.
