I don't know if this was the case with Buff but the NHL is a grind. A player in his 30s with a nagging injury, he's made more money than he probably ever thought he would in his lifetime. I'm surprised more guys don't decide to walk away if they just don't have that fire for hockey anymore.

Oh for sure. I think the Winnipeg fans wish they had a chance to send him off to retirement properly, though.
