Anyone who thought that our "core" of Zib, Kreider, Strome, Buch, Bread and Trouba could lead us to a playoff spot this year, when they sure as shit couldn't do it LAST year, was having very wishful thinking. The kids will push us over the edge when they are good in a few years. They will replace this "loser" core (with Bread still being around).

I'm pretty confident we will finish at least 5th. Beating the Devils and AV should be at least some consolation for this fanbase no?

In all honesty - you're not wrong. He's a middle 6 guy but he brings it every night. I wish some of our other players had even 2/3rds of his hustle and willingness to finish a check. (especially for someone 4'11)
 
We're gonna get charlie and the chocolate factoried in this period by Sully.

It takes a whole team to win. This isn’t a loser core so much as it is an inexperienced secondary group and poor coaching.

I'm a horrible fan. I'm still pissed that they got meekly swept by Carolina lol.

Gotta learn to let shit go.

That's why the "loser" is in quotes. They haven't made the playoffs, therefore they can't be called winners can they?
 
Seems like if Panarin doesn't produce everynight you will have a hard time trusting in anyone to step up
