The writing is on the walls. This is a "get in the playoffs" team, we are trending towards a bit of a fight at the end of the year. The focus should be on making sure they get in. Carolina will be in 1st by end of month, then it's TIGHT 2 - 6 in the division at that point. We *need* winning streaks to stay a playoff lock.

Rangers will have their traditional "hot streak" that will get them a playoff position...once second season begins, they will fizzle out.

the kind of game where you can see the injury impact to forward depth. we have too many bottom 6 players who are simply zero impact guys who go out there to do cardio. not the end of the world for now, but definitely what needs to be addressed at the deadline.
