Igor was the only reason they ended up winning that series. The on ice play was lopsided as f***. He straight up stole both that and the Carolina series but specifically this one.

It’s part of why he got the contract he just signed.

It's not really a knock on Igor as much as it is proof that any goalie is not worth the contract.

Because despite all that, the Pens were still a bounce in G7 from winning the series with an AHL goalie.

I hate it when people like that act like hockey games are 1v1 matches between goalies. Same stupidity Debbie fans bought about Akira Schit being good because he shut us out. Anyone with a pulse can do that when the entire game takes place in the offensive zone.
