Game going to OT. What a game by Fucale, stopped 35 of 37 shots so far, several great saves.
It's not very often that a 1st round skater goes back to the CHL as an over-ager. Mailloux could be an exception given his game totals are low. He'll have a chance to have a long playoff run this spring however. My money's on him playing in Laval with newly hired HuGo coaching staff next season.Mailloux? Or can he go back?
Do you think Bedard gets time in Laval, or will he jump right in with the Habs?
Faced a real tough opponent.Really nice OT win for Laval
Slaf? LOL!Maybe we'll stick the AHL cupboards a little in a few weeks time! If not, next year we have some kids that will graduate... or play NHL. Besides Mesar, Roy and Kidney - who else is AHL eligible? Tuch?
He is someone that should make the big club at some point in the next few seasons as we cannot dress all forwards at 6'0" 185 pounds.
I was wondering if they were going to play him at forward since Laval as extra dmen and his size is needed with the club.
Do ANY of these guys have a chance at making the NHL? This is a weird team. One I can't for the life of me get interested in.
Trudeau is a first year pro showing good things. Beaudin might get a look down the road. Condotta might get a cup of coffee as a 4th line winger. Not much else
Kidney, Roy, Struble and possibly Mesar and Farrell next year.
Can’t wait as it would create multiple points of interest.I think Farrell will be a NHLer from the moment he signs with the Habs, but yes he could be there. Roy is 50/50 too depending on his camp.
I think Mesar will play AHL. Mailloux will be there. Kidney and Struble as you mentioned. Possibly Dobes but he might go back for year 3. Luke Tuch likely gets signed and goes to the AHL, as well.
Expect Hutson back at BU next year. Biondi will be back since he lost a year to injury.
Jared Davidson will be ECHL/AHL.
Engstrom back to SHL.
Heineman will be over, 50/50 like Roy.
Should be a solid graduation.
I'm joking about Bedard. It's not very often that a 1st round skater goes back to the CHL as an over-ager. Mailloux could be an exception given his game totals are low. He'll have a chance to have a long playoff run this spring however. My money's on him playing in Laval with newly hired HuGo coaching staff next season.
Bedard will never see an AHL game unless it's for injury rehab purposes.
I don't see Trudeau making it. I'd call him a long shot. Norlinder will end up back in Europe at some point. Very over rated by Habs fans. The age of completely useless hockey-wise skaters is over. Parker-Jones is a pretty good ECHLer that could become a good AHLer. He has a massive hill to climb to even be the worst NHLer.
Trudeau and Norlinder are the most likely IMO. Beaudin might be a bottom/spare pair offensive specialist for a few years but not a long career. I don't see Condotta reaching the NHL apart for a few injury related stints.
From the recently called up, add Ylonen, Barron and RHP.
Still holding some hope for Fairbrother (injury) and Mysak (poor usage).
