Getting tired of blown leads and giving your division team a point isn't good. But we didn't really play well, so we'll take a win I guess.

I just don't understand why our two worst +/- players are on the ice in that situation.

I don't either.

The only reasoning for Dubinsky is that he's decent at faceoffs.

I suppose Torts subscribes to the notion that he wants to show these guys that he hasn't lost confidence in them. Yet.

Most teams are dead without a quality goalie, aren't they? Philly put around 25 shots on goal, nothing extreme.

We saw "good Mason" tonight. He was really, really good. The Jackets helped him 2-3 times with poor shots, such as on Jenner's breakaway, but I thought he was very strong.

Lucky to win.... Since the Caps game our confidence has evaporated....

Torts must change the lines soon or we will go 2-8 in the next 10....

Jackets tried, they just couldn't get anything past Mason. The Philly goal was just a fortuitous bounce.

The one thing that frustrates me about the Jackets is that they never score when the other net is empty. It's 2 minutes of sweaty palms time every time.

I dont care we gave Philly a point, it's game 39, we got the win, we need to only focus on ourselves and we really need to get back to the way we were playing..

Yeah it's unbelievable. When was our last empty net goal? And no, playing against MAF doesn't count ;)

I'm absolutely on board with everyone that thinks Jenner should slot lower in the lineup for at least the next couple games... his offense is non-existent, and he's blown plenty of defensive assignments

Calvert - Dubi - Atkinson
Jenner - Karlsson - Anderson
Hartnell - Sedlak - Gagner

Agree. I'm sure the guys would have lost a little confidence if they would have lost that one in OT. Now they can't get back at it and yes get back to that game they were playing.

We have more short handed goals (4) than empty net goals (3). It sure would make the last 2 minutes less nerve racking to score some more empty netters!

That's where I'm at.

And besides Wild Bill getting that PPG, our 3rd line hasn't exactly been tearing it up, either. A little change could be good.

Also Wenny bought Wild Bill regular Oreos for his birthday! Ugh, Double Stuf or bust!

I thought the team was actually really good at establishing the forecheck late into the third. The Flyers got lucky to score in just a little bit of zone time in the final minute.

I want to give credit to Murray too, just because folks have knocked him. He's skating better lately and playing solid defence. He wasn't at fault on the final goal. The Flyers can get guys open on a 6 on 5, can't cover all of them. It makes me really excited for our defence that Murray is finally stepping up.

And Jenner had great hustle tonight, so did Dubi. I've been saying for months (and warning going back to last spring) that those two did not have good defensive chemistry together. I want them broken up. But they played well tonight.

Thought they were 50/50. Half above average, half absolutely terrible.

Very relieved to get the second point. It wouldn't have been the end of the world but.....

Torts said in post-game presser that Dubi was the guy that most impressed him tonight with his hustle and grit. Didn't show up on the score sheet, but from my vantage point at Nationwide, I thought Dubi played a very solid game on the forecheck.

So much complaining over here. I just checked the standings and the Jackets are in the 1st place in the entire NHL, 3 points ahead of the 2nd place S*ittsburgh! Just enjoy the moment.

I might have missed something - my stream was choppy (though not too choppy for me and my buddies (all ex-Ohioans) to loudly cheer the winning goal). I just noticed that Jenner and Dubi looked like they had more hustle.

Their hustle was definitely there. Saw a few head scratching plays from both of them though.
