I've liked most of what I've seen out of 11 tonight except for in his own end.

It's crazy sometimes how quickly this crowd turns on a guy (see Savard). Calvert's been more or less fine all year - not understanding this nonsense.

You do realize these aren't robots, right? Guys are going to have good games and bad games.

I realize: I try not to look at it short-term (I give Savard a C- on the season)

Calvert is much the same. He doesn't fulfill the role he is supposed to be filling and doesn't compensate adequately.

As another person put it: "Warm body syndrome".
He's just "there". Not the expected impact and lesser from last season

Don't think we played that bad, save for some really bad penaltys. Credit the Leafs, they've completely shut the door on the Jackets.
