Yeah I’m in Chicago for the game and the weather has been absolute dog shit this morning haha. Fingers crossed it clears up a bit or at least turns into snow later!

That suggs azz dude. Chicago will do that. Once every 4 or 5 years it gets weird on what should be a freezing cold day.

I'm afraid what's going to happen is not snow or even sleet, but slush falling from the sky. It will start slushing, not snowing. And then the continually trampled slush will freeze into dangerous peaks and valleys of ice. Celtic knows all about this strange freezing slush thang that happens.

Tomorrow will be an adventure on the sidewalks. I hope that doesn't happen cuz that will be some treacherous walking tomorrow morning.

They need to star scheduling these games in mid to late January or early February to better ensure the likelihood of outdoor hockey weather. Wasn't it like 45 degrees and raining when we hosted?

I was there and it was very rainy/foggy until the game started. It definitely was above freezing. The weather for the alumni game 2 days earlier was much better.

This game is kinda old at this point. They cheapened the meaning of it by having so many outdoor games in a year, especially just recycling the same teams.

Will I watch? Yes, but only cause its my team. I can't imagine anyone else waiting to watch todays game that isn't a fan of the teams playing or a severe hockey nut, which are rare.

We had what was not snow or sleet, but rather looked like dippin’ dots falling from the sky a few weeks ago.

As for the adventure walk, if the worst case happens you can always have some hair of the dog or a J for my law abiding, plant loving friends, if you need to numb any boo boos. It’s a day off for most of us after all.
