Bruins aren't equipped to play wide open against literally any current PO Team in the East. Even with the moves solidifying their top 6 (Coyle to RW\Geekie to LW), the top
and bottom 6 still have performance issues (88 sub par goal production)
and talent issues (3 Line is NHL subpar offensively).

They get an early taste of the remaining schedule being PO Team heavy with road games against Washington and Toronto. I expect Washington to be primed to do what Boston did to them Dec 23. Its better than 50\50 they will face situations where the wheels look like they are going to fall off during a game in the next 3. Hopefully see some pushback when it happens.
Like I said in a previous post, the Bruins don't have the horses to play wide open hockey with faster teams

..so they have to bring their lunchpails and work hard for their wins ..while thinking defense first

..just like many Bruins teams before them had to do

It feels like we've been running the same power play with Pasta for 5 years but it hasn't worked over the past 4 years.

When we have more movement it feels closer but still the results don't seem great.
Bruins PP: short pass to bumper for the shot or rebound -or- pass to PASTA for one timer.

That's it.
Easy to plan a defense when you only use two options on the first PP unit.

Beecher back in the lineup. Not sure what he’s done to earn back in but he’s in. I get Washington plays physical but playing yoyo with Lysell sucks. Beecher and McLaughlin bring next to nothing to the table. Lysell is a first round pick, you have to give him a chance.

When you see they have a game today and get excited figuring you get to watch Hockey on New Years Eve after work and then realize that the game is going to be on at 9:30am and over long before you get home...Oh well. I'll binge watch something instead LOL Here's to the boys ending the year on a good note and pulling off a W. Somehow.

What are the odds either Ovechkin or Wilson cheap shots Carlo?
If they were expected to make the playoffs I'd say 100%, where they are barely on the line he has a chance of escaping unscathed.

I'm curious to see if there's any fallout from the pre Christmas matchup.

8 days is a long time to be mad over something. But with guys like Tom Wilson around, you can never discount the possibility

Is Lysell the only player waiver exempt?
