Phi is at .500 points per game, as is mtl. The difference is that phi doesn't come in on a streak of dominating the florida teams on their ice. I have a bit more, but not complete, faith that we can close this one out. The next four games after this one are teams with pts per game of 42.1%, 35%, 46.1%, and 45.8%. I don't want VGK to be the team 45.8% NYR decide to start playing against.

Quick has better stats than Shesty so far so maybe that injury is a blessing in disguise? But we'll see how he does with a starters work load. I thought he should have retired 2 years ago but he's been great for the Rags.

So many home games and against mostly bad teams is just asking for complacency. After throwing away the Montreal game and giving up the quick goal last night I was starting to get worried a slump was incoming at a time they needed to be racking up the points. 4 more what should be "easy" games before finishing off this homestand against Minnesota. Got to get 8 points minimum out of 10 here. Looks like a repeat of 2 years ago when going 8-2 every 10 games and you weren't increasing the lead because Edmonton and La were doing the same thing.
