Right now, I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO done with this team. I've given Lavvy every benefit of the doubt, but I must say there is NO excuse for not putting your best players on the ice in situations where you're trying to win a game. He has no good reason or explanation for repeatedly benching the Chytl line during the last 5-10 minutes of a third period.....especially when you pull the goalie with 3+ minutes to play and that line has been your best line (as well as your scoring line) for some time.

And if putting the same ineffective players out there for minutes at a time with the extra skater weren't bad enough, there isn't one wrinkle of the PP changed. They're still looking for Kreider deflections and/or the east-west pass across ice for the tip in. And let's not forget the inordinate amount of time they spend passing around the perimeter. It's become so predictable, it's boring.

As for tanking, I still think they'll suddenly go on a streak and end up drafting 16th.

Lindgren is an embarrassment. The delay of game penalties by him and K'Andre the last 2 games when they werent even under pressure would get Zac Jones benched.

I thought there were a lot of positives in this one. Zib looked closer to his normal self than he has in ages. Guys were moving their feet (e.g., Kreider). D were pinching well in the offensive zone, and had great rotations with the wingers up and down the wall.

We defended poorly, our PP sucks, Panarin line was MIA, and couldn't get a f***ing save when we needed one. Nothing new there. Those things all need to change for us to actually win games.
