After the last game, I can't really fault the decision of Stanley over Heinola. Appleton is banged up, Names has something going on, and the D are all dealing with varying degrees of shit. Nashville's a slow as f*** team, so Stan shouldn't be exposed too much. That 2nd pairing slot, though. Eeesh. When the f*** is Samberg back? f***ing hell. He has to be skating soon, right?

Last I saw he was on the ice by himself after regular practice

I thought i saw Heinola - Coghlan as the 3rd pair, no?

Edit: just realized stan on the 2nd pair... I thought him and Pionk looked OK in the few shifts they played together last game

This is why you try to hold on to as much D depth as possible. We have been weathering things well so far.
