We’re not even supposed to be here. And this is so important and intense for Sens fans. We’re like oh cool whatever, I guess this is what’s happening now. 🤣
That isn't necessarily true.
I know a lot of people who suggested .500 hockey would be a very good step towards competing next season.
That is exactly where we are at and our next goal should be a continual reduction of our goal diff.
If we want the playoffs that number has to be in the green or very close to it.
Obviously winning is the goal but a .600 plus pace is probably unrealistic.

Not a fan of starting Monty against the weaker team. While it may end up being the right decision it still feels like they are aiming for 1 win out of 2. Usually , good teams reserve their backup for weaker opponents.

That being said, let's f***ing win both 😀

Good point but Dobes didn't blink against Florida. Another good test for him.

I mean we likely lose to Colorado regardless of who is in net. Lol They're healthy, have won 6 consecutive games & are 8-2 in last 10.

Savard is also a game time decision tonight. If Struble is in then we'll need Monty. Try to get the wins when you can. Montembeault will also probably play against Vancouver on Monday, so this gives him 2 days rest. Considering Montreal travels to Colorado after tonight's game then home to Montreal after that game, the rest is better.

We also thought that against FLO, TB, and Vegass. We will see.

JT is doing ayahuasca in India unfortunately for them
He’s done, healed, back at his playing weight and training everyday to make a comeback as early as this season.

Cpt Canada could potentially help Habs as 3C replacing Dvorak, assuming he can still play / keep pace

high chance of win tonight brings us 1 point out of a playoff spot
and we have a few games in hand from the other teams

we might actually make it if we can stay consistent now

The Habs went into Florida, Tampa, and Vegas and won all 3 games while most here were very likely expecting 3 losses.

Tonight they play the Hawks and most here seem to expect a Habs win so they'll probably completely shit the bed and lose this game because that's just how things seem to go sometimes. Anyway hopefully Hutson can get back on the scoresheet again tonight.

Buffalo would be an interesting landing spot for Toews, they could use the leadership. Detroit could re-unite Kane-Toews. If he is able to come back, I'm sure there'll be teams interested to give him a chance.
