warms my heart that you young punks know about Night At The Roxberry, I'm gaining faith in today's youth
It was a staple during the Therrien years.

Letting potential UFAs know what’s what.

That, or the Preds’ dressing room is a quagmire.

:sarcasm:

Yet another testament to the very impressive coaching job being led by MSL and to management's effective culture-building approach.

Not easy to build and maintain this kind of atmosphere in a group that has lost far more games together than it has won.

The players are bought in and know they are part of something special being built... Including those that know they aren't likely to be around when the team moves firmly into the upper tier.

Future is bright 😎

If the penguins lose in Florida tommorow, the Habs would leapfrog 3 teams with a win in Chicago.

That would vault the Habs right up against the wc2 seed.

I can't even believe what I'm posting to be honest.
It truly is mind-boggling.
The plugged holes in the lineup make the Habs look very different than in early November. And some of the teams vying for a playoff spot are very mediocre. For example, there’s « Wild Card » Ottawa that could only muster 13 shots last night vs the Stars. I watched the game. When Habs play like that we want to fire MSL, open the Tank thread and rail that our lineup is full of bums.

I think its good idea with Monty vs CHI and Dobes vs AVS. Mainly they should focus on the win vs CHI. Game vs AVS will be harder (not a must win game). Players will fight more for rookie Dobes in net than if Monty is there and rely on him. Not a easy game for Dobes but even a lost game can make him better and stronger - it is up to him. NHL is not for weaklings.

Mediocrity or present day NHL parity where 30 of the teams can win a gams vs anyone on a given day?

1am start but no kids or GF this weekend. Must win game but feeling confident if the boys keep doing what they've been doing. Monty in net is a good choice, he gets 2 of the next 3 games and the Avs game is basically a write-off anyway.

Let's go, white!

I was sure they would go Monty for the Avs game but yeah, they are probably looking at trying to get the 2 pts at a min in the back/back. Dobes will have a good test against the Avs.
