He would be the 7th D on any good team right now, it takes D longer to develop than offense so he could still turn it around, but right now he's garbage and I'm sick of seeing him on the ice.

I dont agree with this assessment. He's NHL caliber, but third pairing caliber right now. Kid hasnt played a lot of hockey in the past two years. He's taking his lumps now, but he'll only get better.

I disagree with your scouting. He looked like a seventh for a couple games after a couple great games. Typical promising young D.

Well we've moved from Wennbeeg needs AHL time for confidence to Murray needs AHL time for confidence. I wonder who's next!

He needed and needs time in the AHL, I don't think we can even send him down but he is not NHL caliber talent right now.

These observations and posts are so thoughtless in nature.
He is solid young D man that will naturally have some ups and downs ,comes with the position.
He is and will be a good NHL defence man.

Same goes for the D that have been called up they are going to be inconsistent but games played bring more consistency. One game does not make a career.

Watch a few other teams play and you will see that the best of the best have ups and downs

I just glad he has been healthy. I'd really like to see him get more ice time and improve. He has been bad the last game or so though.

You talking about Murray? Wow, 7th? I don't even know what to say with the posters around here. I know you didn't start it, but 3rd pairing? That is highly inaccurate.

Tough game? Sure. But he's easily a 3/4 in this league right now.

In before the inevitable Johansen joke.

The problem is that right now, how he's playing, it's hard to put him in the lineup at all. It's baffling how bad he is right now. He should be able to sleep walk (skate) to better games, he's that good.
