Terrible period. Terrible game. Montreal looks like a team that just came off a long road trip. Buffalo looks as shitty as they've always been. Levi has saved their asses this game so far.

Cole turned the puck over but it was Matheson's complete lack of deception and the poorly executed drop pass to Suzuki who then had to improv to Caufield that caused the problem.
He spends his shifts playing whack-a-mole with the puck, or trying too.
Feel bad for him, but then I remember he's a pro athlete and I gotta get up in the AM

Slaf the beast continues, as does the drop pass being an awful play. Caufield is having a bad game for sure.
This, can take a long time to fully recover.

You are choosing to bury your head in the sand if you believe they picked Reinbacher because they merely liked him. And this is coming from the only guy that was pumping DRs tires in the draft thread.
True and worse is the PK.
Nothing has changed since puck drop game one.
We are obviously low on energy and a good PP is what sees some teams through a period of fatigue.
That short burst after the shortie may be hard to sustain.
