We need a one-timer development coach.

I also find it interesting that we can dominate entire periods and won’t get a single call, but when we’re being dominated for entire periods, we’re talking a shitload of penalties along the way.

I guess every team we dominate against plays us perfectly defensively. Because that makes a lot of sense.

It should also depend on the call. That's so borderline, the fact the refs didn't think it was in the moment should mean something. Same thing the other way, if the refs say no and it's borderline, it should stay no.

There's ref's call in other sports, there should be in hockey.

The sequence before the offside no goal had about 5 penalties against the sabres that could have been called.

At least we'll be coming in to the 2nd angry and knowing we can score and probably will want to put up as many as we can.

Hope Jake continues to get near that blue. Rather have some **** called back than be perimeter.

Think there's a chance that's how it goes over the full season as well. Harkins looks like a decent NHL bottom six forward who's got his timing and is now believing he's belongs. The scouting report on Pitlick, and my limited viewings, said guy who's not skilled enough to be a top sixer and not reliable enough to be a bottom sixer, and just not good enough to displace Puustinen and Hinostroza and Zohorna and Nylander as that sort of middle six skill guy call up.

Good luck proving that wrong but he was, what, 17th at best on the depth chart? He was never getting the chance here.
I'm just less hopeful with Harkins. Really bad career production and 2 points in 186 minutes this year. But I'll respect your opinion.

I don't see why RP can't be on L2 with a career 1.8 rate in 153 games. That's like Rakell/Zucker output.
Plus that would allow Rakell to move down, since he sucks with Malkin.

Oh well. He's gone. It's over. Who cares. This team won't win a round anyway.

That was absolutely not goalie interference. Guentzel was outside the paint, and the contact happened just as the puck was going past the goalie.

That was a crazy good shift near the end of the period before the first overturned goal.

can they break this goalie??? Sabres playing with numbers back, it will be hard to get one through, will need some luck
