Not a fan of Cooper as coach at all. Such an easy guy to dislike and a whiner. I am with you on Rooney, hoping we can keep his impact to a minimum.

I like Cooper. Yes, he is a whiner, but gamesmanship and working the refs is part of the job. It is a job at which I think he is pretty good overall.

Maybe he is overrated, as his team's willingness to play d and d structure is a little weak, but those cup rings say something different.

JVR hurt again? Sure that line was rough against PIT but he was great against CBJ with the 3 pt night..

Craig Berube worked the refs, especially in 2019. Don’t like him either. I was a coach for 18 years. There is a difference between keeping the refs honest on bad calls and whining.

Yes there is one. And, fwiw, I don't Berube either as he strikes me as only competent and a ruthless cheat. Cooper strikes me as a bit whiny, but very solid and rather good at getting under his team's skin to motivate them. He is the chirper type, kind of like Jack Parker, Parcells etc.

JVR is hurt (day to day). Lohrei was at the dentist today for more work. Could still play tonight.
PP 2 has been more effective. They actually shoot the puck and don't look for the perfect pass.
