I don't understand it either, Ullmark has earned the right to play the bulk of the games. Furthermore Swayman's performance has been less then impressive, bizarre.

Exactly. Last season I didn't have a problem with the rotation as they were putting up pretty similar numbers.

This season is totally different and it's not even close. Reward the guy thats been saving your ass on most nights.

55-60 starts shouldn't wear out a #1 goalie. Geez gone are the days of Brodeur starting 65+ every year

It's almost halfway thru the season and Swayman has 14GP so idk how many starts hockeydb equates that too but he's on pace for about 30ish games.

I suppose I'd rather him get his reps in now then later in the season or hope Sway, himself goes on a tear with a few good games.


Hard to judge between giving Ullmark the rest he needs and him not getting rusty.

That's only because Swayman was injured earlier this year, lately it's been a 50/50 split. Ullmark is being paid a starting goalies salary and has done more then enough to get the bulk of the starts. He has been hands down the best goalie in hockey while Swayman has been below average. The chances of the Bruins winning when Ullmark plays as opposed to Swayman is off the charts.
