Sitting in Calgary. Rogers has managed to cut off all centre ice. Will this be the third Jets game I have missed since they took over Shaw? F*** Rogers.

Perhaps this is the night that someone -- coaches? teammates? -- lights a fire under Scheifele. He's got to come roaring back into form one of these games, this would be a great one for him to burst out a hatty.

And in ridiculous predictions, I'm calling for Lowry to score a shorty tonight.

@B33R LEAGUE ...

I brought this over from the Memorial thread of Lowell...

"Lowell was born on June 19, 1967 in Central Butte, Saskatchewan, to Inez Atchison and Stanley Miller, and named for his uncle, Trooper Lowell H. Miller, who died in the Second World War and is buried at Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery, Netherlands."...

What a small world...

I was at the Groesbeek CWC and viewed every head stone and remember Lowell Miller's name...

I took in the National War Museum in Groesbeek and had lunch at the closest hotel, then went to the CWC... signed in on the register and made a point of taking in all the names on the head stones...

I remember that beautiful day as clear as yesterday... so cool...
