They always had a good home record, even when their away is way more average. I remember some people theorizing a few years back that visiting teams spent a bit too much time having fun in town.

I'm sure a lot of you guys hate these afternoon games, but I love them. I've missed a lot of evening games because of rehearsals & performances, so, selfishly, daytime hockey is perfect for me.

I'd be thrilled with a point against Vegas. I want to see Laine back on the board and Carrier/Guhle shutting them down in our zone. GHG!

I remember when we had players like Koivu, Kovalev, Zednik, Souray, Markov, Subban etc and when the habs played, we expected to win, Gainey put some nice players together, and we were always competative......I would love for us, to all get back to that type of feeling where we just know and expect we will win way more than we lose.........

Of course, I wont go back to when I was a kid, and we won Cups in the 70's seemingly when we wanted, but right now, it feels like this organization may be ready to start moving forward with the current regime really knowing what to do, and not that they are perfect, by any stretch it's hard not to feel positive.

Win streaks are fun.........

I remember Koivu carrying 3rd line scrubs because Gainey couldn't make a trade to save his life. I also remember barely getting into the playoffs and drafting in the teens every year and never getting better. You can go back to those days I will stay right here with a well built team and a far superior management.
