3rd game in 4 nights, with travel in between....on the road and against the best team in the NHL right now. Looks like mission impossible here, even going to OT would be a huge bonus.

But yeah, who's the hottest team in the NHL in the last 2 weeks?

We probably don't beat Vegas, but that's OK. It's the team's 3rd game in 4 nights with travel. Just hope they play hard and don't crash out.

If we can beat Chicago Friday even if we lose to Colorado & Vegas, this Christmas road trip is 3-3 (wins over Fla, TB & Chi, losses to CBJ, Vegas Colorado) and can be declared a success.

Also, they're in Vegas for New Year's Eve! Slafkovsky & Hutson are not of legal drinking age there, though.

The rest of the team:

Yeah, i spent new years eve in Vegas about a decade ago.

Interesting winters over there. 20 degrees and sunny during the day and a chilly 2 degrees at night. The old volcano at the mirage used to be a popular place on those winter nights on the strip lol.

Bouncer to Slaf: you can come in but your little brother stays outside.

I'm sure a lot of you guys hate these afternoon games, but I love them. I've missed a lot of evening games because of rehearsals & performances, so, selfishly, daytime hockey is perfect for me.

I'd be thrilled with a point against Vegas. I want to see Laine back on the board and Carrier/Guhle shutting them down in our zone. GHG!

Obviously the Habs can't win them all but with that said...it's my birthday and beating Vegas would be a great gift. Also, win or lose...play well, play hard and show the league that the Habs have turned the corner and are headed to respectability.
No brainer...Monty starts with Dobes playing in Chicago.

Your ballet career going well, then.

If we somehow manage to win this one things will get very interesting for the rest of the month season.

I hope it continues. Not just a hot streak
You have to beat Vegas with a bend but don't break approach.
If we get down a couple of goals it might be hard to keep this new found energy going.

However If they take us for granted they will lose just like any other NHL team.

Seriously not many people have us winning this game including Vegas...
Let's use it particularly on @Tyson's birthday. 🎂

Yeah, but those shoes are killing me.

There's a lot to be said for confidence when it comes to developing young athletes. We saw it building this past month and saw it spike over the weekend. If these kids have a strong game today it'll bode well for what this roster can become.
