One of Bonino or Goodrow ends up centering the line and I'm not thrilled with either of them, so it is what it is.

I would love to just put Cuylle, Othmann, and Vesey together but that doesn't make sense.

Why wouldn't it? It's better than throwing shit at the wall and hoping it sticks. If it doesn't, then you have 2 messes to clean. Trust me I know, I'm raising 3 puppies.

I agree that he's been better, a lot better. I also think that there should be someone with more speed, or maybe even just more quickness on that line though. In a perfect world, Wheeler is on our 4th line and laf, othmann and Kakko are our top 6 wingers

Kakko for all his missed opportunities on offense still has young legs and a willingness to retrieve pucks, something we need.
