Manipulating public information and misleading the masses has actually been an incredibly effective tactic for thousands of years.

Many fans don't want to spend money going to games when a team is rebuilding, so tell the fans it's not a rebuild. There is a negative conotation attatched to the word rebuild. That's why we get terms like "reset" and "retool" getting thrown around all the time.

They can call it whatever they like, all those terms essentially mean the same thing.

This team is rebuilding.

The ads for betting and pretending "responsible gambling tools", they say gaming, but games are ubiquitous with gambling now. You spend real money while getting random drops. Literally gambling.

If anyone thinks our government and gaming companies have a soul, look elsewhere. Hand in glove for the $$$$

Its bloody integrated into the broadcast so screw the nhl and sportnet. Want to taint the game this is the alltime worst to me.
