I think it's a two-fold problem
he has to learn how to get in the open he can't always stay in the same spot and second if this team had more scoring it would free him up a little

Let's say hypothetically Cooley averages 10-15 points more a season over Slaf, 80/85 vs 65/75

I'd gladly sacrfice that extra 10 to 15 points for all the other ways Slaf will impact a game over Cooley.

Slaf will be more advantageous imo.
