I like the Coyotes chances. They are coming in rested since most of the team just stood around and watched the Avs score Wednesday. I am hopeful Bunting and Pederson get some ice time. It would be nice to see how they fit long term.
I mean...
We have to like our chances we're playing the Ducks. The
DUCKS. The Ducks are not a good team right now / this year or however you want to count it. There is not a single informed fan who would say the Ducks are a good team this year.
To be clear I also am a Coyotes superfan but have barely watched games this year (but have followed / lurked through slightly over half the GDTs, thanks everyone for posting) -- but standings wise we're a playoff bubble team, the Ducks are not, and looking at their roster they're not even close. So we should win by at least 1-2 goals tonight. Because we are a playoff bubble team and the ducks... well, on paper they are not a good team. FWIW I feel really bad for ppl like Gibson, Ryan Getzlaf, Rakell, Cam Fowler -- imo they all deserve better they are quality players.
So... reading the threads would we rather we collapse this year so Tocchet is fired or would we rather play just over 0.500 hockey and make the playoffs... and hope Vegas overtakes COL so we can have a 6 or 7 game series before MAF has a shutout in game 6 or 7? Because depending how you count last year we may or may not have made the playoffs in quite some time.
I honestly don't know it's open question. Asking what you all think and am very curious, we're all superfans here. From this side I haven't seen enough games in real-time this year to have an informed opinion. Very much appreciate the input if you all want to take this open question
