Columbus isn't really that good. Beatable. On a hot streak, but beatable.

They should both get 2 for roughing, and then Anderson an extra too (probably another roughing). Not an instigator situation at all, but the late hit is absolutely 100% a penalty.

I reacted out of emotion there. Tbh if anyone gets an instigator you can argue it would be McQuaid since he dropped the gloves first. But realistcally Anderson should be getting extra minutes there you don't hit a guy after the whistle on an icing. Probably for the better given our PP...

Unless he cannot get up from the damage inflicted by the punch or when his head hits the ice. Referees have been severly injured from those types of incidents in the past. Not being happy about him breaking up a fight is fine but that's where it should end.

I think maybe they broke it up because they were worried about another altercation at the same time between Marchand and Hartnell.

After the Downie and Peluso issues this week, I'm sure linesmen and refs were told to keep things PG rated for the time being.

That was disgraceful. Linesman awkwardly breaking that up to the point where he could've injured himself there
