But generally speaking why does the 2 stringer get the start at home when everyone in front of him plays better at home? Why not start your #1 in the hostile environment?

I sort of agree, but on the other hand, going all-in to win at home is also a valid strategy. Winning home games is probably more important to the bottom line and all that. Would starting Elvis in this game have helped that much? I don't think so, we just don't have it offensively tonight. We're getting shutout and it's not because Boston has been amazing.

Back to back games yielded one of our best games of the year followed by one of our worst games of the year. Almost all of Jackets were very good last night; almost all the Jackets were very bad tonight.
