It's because they are on the PK, safety first. He can't very well make a blind pass into the slot. I think he's really good at creating offense from the PK, particularly with Evans.

If Dvorak had an average scoring touch he’d be a second liner with the amount of breakaways and 2 on 1 he creates (to his credit).

Unfortunately for us his scoring ability is abysmal.

Yeah, at this point, he's a 4th line center.
