Not subjecting him to the horror show that is the Sharks D and letting the team rack up losses to position itself well for the upcoming draft.

The Cuda are a good team this year too so it'll be good for him to get some positive momentum heading into next season where he's probably going to battle for the #1 spot with the Sharks.

I think they should run him while Vitek is out which gives Speer enough time to hopefully make Garbagiev an NHL passable goalie then send Askarov back down until one of those guys get traded
