he’s no RoySo a modern generation Marty Turco? I remember Turco doing that kind of thing a lot.
I kinda pity people whose first instinct watching this is "this is awful!"
Yep though top your hat to the oilers. Their movement off the puck and low high play is off the charts. It’s like an umbrella app at even strength except that every guy is moving off the puck, constant circling, constant switching, constant action. This is what a talented but even more so well coached team looks like. That could have been the worst period of Sharks hockey so far this season after maybe their best.
we tanked 3 losses after leading in the 3rd. we can accept a win here. of course we can also lose and set a record that may never be broken. do we want temporary happiness or do we want to be LEGENDARY?I kinda pity people who sit here and think "everyone should think the way I do or there's something wrong with them that deserves my self-serving pity."
You don't have to be pro-tank, but you don't have to be passive-aggressive about those that are. Nor do you have to make silly strawmanny created versions of those people to carp at in a pretty smug way to denigrate them.
I don't think "this is awful" I think it's great that he's playing well. I also recognize that this is a bad team and that having them continue to suck this year is in their best interest. And if that means sending Askarov back to the Barracuda so he's not subjected to this while the team keeps itself in the lottery race, so be it. It's possible to be complimentary and engaged by Askarov's play or Celebrini's play or whatever and still be on board with them losing. You don't have to agree with it, but you do have to respect that other people are allowed to do so if they want without getting grief for it.

I'm 100% on board with them losing, but fans need the occasional break from hopeless misery to appreciate and remember what it's like to enjoy hockey again. I stand by my point that, for ME anyways, it would suck if my reaction to watching this isn't happiness for what we rarely get to see, but to not want to see it again any time soon.I kinda pity people who sit here and think "everyone should think the way I do or there's something wrong with them that deserves my self-serving pity."

The way pucks go whizzing past him he might want to get those eyes checked when he landsGeorgiev watching his career flash before his eyes.
And we probably will, but I find for my own personal sanity it's important to have these glitches of hope every now and again.I'm loving every game this season but still want a top 5 pick. Haters gonna hate
"...and in a surprising move, War is throwing Georgiev out there for the third."It’s refreshing to genuinely enjoy watching Sharks hockey again.
Askarov looks like he is the real deal.
Games like this demonstrate how far this team has come and how far they have to go.
Prepared for another 3rd period collapse, but excited to watch this team grow over the next few years and learn how to close out games like this.
he'll smoke the aforementioned cigarIf the All Star game still exists in a few years, Askarov is gonna pull some serious shenanigans.
What a way to jinx the upcoming third period, doofus. To give my 2 cents, I don't care where we pick. If we are better than the top 5 there is some serious progression with this team. If we pick top 5 good for the future. I'll enjoy watching the wins.

If he only did that with pucksGeorgiev watching his career flash before his eyes.
he’s no Roy
As a voter, I couldn't in good conscience vote for a rookie on a team that doesn't win a single game no matter how many points he puts up.I would be happy with an 0-82-0 season with a Celebrini calder win.
That would be so major league lol"...and in a surprising move, War is throwing Georgiev out there for the third."
