Philip, Petrov, and especially Savoie starting to come on in Bakersfield. Savoie especially has 9 points in his last five games as a rookie 20 year old, 10th in rookie scoring as one of the youngest rookies on a team with very little offensive punch. He’s trending well, and him and Philip should get a cup of coffee before the season is up. Philip I hope replaces Ryan, he’s already a better player.

It's too bad McDrai don't get to play against Skinner. 7/10 cross seam passes between them would be in the net.
I bet it’s like 6/10 with an elite tier goalie. The effect really isn’t that big. Any team should should be trying for those cross seam daggers anyways and any team should be trying to prevent them.

I feel like the Oilers are due to lose to the Ducks, don't remember the last time they lost to them, and the second of a back to back afternoon games is the opportunity for the Ducks to catch them napping so I'm sensing an L today.

Jeff skinner scratched. What a collosal waste of cap

Good. Had enough of watching him flail on a bottom 6 line.

The more we scratch him the more eager he’ll be to waive the NMC. Would be nice to see the Oilers play hardball for once in their lives.

I thought the Oilers slowly allowed themselves to get out competed as the game yesterday went along. Kings wanted it more and it was pretty apparent in the third.

Would be extremely disappointing if the group decided to sleep walk into this game when it should be used as an opportunity to self correct.

Oilers played well last night against one of the hottest teams of the season. Lots of easily correctable mistakes were made after a break. No own goal and we win last night. I don’t see this mature room not cleaning that up and bringing the same energy to Anaheim. I’ll predict a relatively high scoring win.

lol anything to deflect from Skinner's horrible east-west movement.

He does have below average east west movement. My post didn’t deny that. But it’s not like you can goalie well enough in this league to stop 9/10 of them or something.
