40 seems a little high. He would have to get really hot. 30+ is good all things considering. He still hasn't played a full NHL season. He was injured last year, and got AHL time in his rookie season (Ducharme, MSL year).

I’m not expecting 40. But it is worth noting that he had 22 in 37 once MSL took over in 21-22. If he could do that it’d put him at 32 goals with like 10 games left.

I’m not expecting it but if he started scoring at a normal pace he’d get close. And if he got hot he could actually do it.
