The sharks announcers were saying it was incidental too. Flew off the handle at first but then on replays realized it wasn't on purpose.

OD saying that he thought both players didn't see each other and Brown deserved just 2 minutes.

I'm not sure I can agree with that (the not seeing eachother). I think Brown was going for the hit but both guys had their knees out equally. 2 minutes to Brown would have been ok since he was initiating, but a 5 minute major is ********.

No, they are wrong! Brown was clearly doing his best heat seeking missile attempt and Hertl's knee was the target! Target acquired!

Brown got the penalty because he has a reputation and Hertl got hurt. Both players didn't change their course and ran into each other. Hope Hertl's okay.

This. Looked like two guys trying to get off the tracks, though I'd like to see a replay that shows more ice than isolated on Brown's vicinity.

Judging by how he shifted his weight, Brown was absolutely not going for that. Plus, as **** for brains as he can be, someone with an injured knee isn't running around trying to blow up other knees.

Hopefully Brown got his moneys worth and took away one of their better offensive players (for some amount of time) for the unjustified suspension he will probably get.

I hope this is a lesson for Brown though. If he's going to do these fly-bys on guys and decide not to hit them, he's going to get himself into trouble when he cuts it too close. If he wants to make an open ice hit, he needs to make the open ice hit.

On a positive note, I thought Toffoli had a very good 1st. He just does things instinctively that comes with being a goal scorer. So much fun to watch. He and MR are buzzing out there. But Lewis is dragging that line down.

It's one thing to deal with the dumbass refs but then to hear someone who supposed to be an objective kings fan, telling that everyone is wrong, when in fact, you're the one that's wrong!!!

Dude, seriously...get lost!

Get lost... where? I'm a Kings fan. That was hardly a completely unearned major, did Brown try to get out of the way? I suppose you could say so, but when it's a knee on knee hit that results in an injury, a major is absolutely the right call to make, what comes with a major? A game misconduct. Maybe you should try reading the rulebook. Brownie won't get a suspension from this, but because of the fact that it looked like a knee on knee right away and then it resulted in an injury? Yeah, a major isn't a "terrible" call by any means. It could've gone either way.

You need to relax and breathe, it's one game.

Dude, it's not about the game.

It's about your arrogance in thinking that you know better than everyone else on here.

Admit you were wrong.

Don't bother. You're a waste of time.

Hertl's leading knee hit browns trailing knee. If the refs saw that there would have been a penalty on hertl. Terrible call based on reputation
