Richardson on line #2 is all the confirmation you need we are trading for a forward tomorrow.

Also, no, he wasn't on there at the start.

That's exactly what I was coming here to post. They've gone through Gagne, Penner, Toffoli, Richardson, Clifford, then moved Richards to the left side with Carter at centre. It's pretty apparent a LW is a priority for the second line.

Been a long road trip, Kings have only missed out on one point so far.

Not going to complain.

Get the Deadline over, set the roster and lets run this sucker.

Also, back to a previous point, I don't think Quick is injured. However, goal #2 was soft. I think he is overcompensating for the bad D and taking it pretty hard when he lets something in.

We don't look all there mentally tonight, especially Ellerby and A-Mart. We ended the 2nd on a strong note so hopefully it carries to the 3rd. Where has Richards been all road trip?

I believe that to be true, but I think he's playing injured. Around the 3 minute mark in the first period he hunched over after doan took a shot while play was still going.

He's looked injured at times.

Its true. Crazy thing is though he's still playing just well enough to win more often than not.

Richards is clearly hurt, but he showed up in Minnesota, Dallas and St. Louis. Sometimes it feels like we're just looking for something to complain about. I am surprised he and Carter are doing anything with the rotate-a-bum setup we have going on line #2. He's played with a kid who isn't great in the cycle game and random guys all road trip.

His lack of physical game is not great right now but as long as we're winning more than we lose it's not a problem.

I think we are gonna get a player tomorrow to solidify the second line position a Live in the now said, "rotate a bum" Richards is too small, Carter isn't a great forechecker. We need a big strong top 6 player for 2nd Line. And Tanguay wont help with lack of physicality on the 2nd line which is why i wanted Jagr.

I think we are pulling a trade tomorrow.

Bring in Glencross. Sutter signed him when he was Flames GM, maybe he could influence his decision to waive the NTC to come to LA.

This is your prototypical Dave Tippett coached Coyotes game. They lull you to sleep and are allowing the Kings to get some weak shots through from low percentage areas of the ice.
