I know its been Philly & a decimated Pens team but I think I see signs of life.

Having trouble in our own zone. Don't get it out when chance is their only to see it worked around for good chances against. Korpi thumbs up.

Super impressive period.

Thoughts: Korpisalo literally looks like Bob in net. Similar in size and netminding play. Absolutely love watching him. So positionally sound.

Borque was noticeable in a good way. Playing very hard tonight.

Murray was iffy..

As for the Pens, you can tell this team is degraded.. Not much push. Surprising considering the "rivalry" between the two teams. Torts' team was def more prepared for the start of the game compared to Sullivan's team.

I'd be a little nervous if I were McElhinney right now.

He is not bad and has assist today accordingly to NHL site

Wennberg is so consistent in his inconsistency. Terrible with Tampa -- good in Phoenix -- bad with Flyers -- today he had to be good again.

If they would choose to.....can Curtis be sent to Cleveland? (contract terms)

The downside would be Korp not getting much game time experience if Bob comes back strong. He may be better off in Cleveland the rest of this year??

He could always be waived. Clear waivers, then go to LEM.

Another downside is Forsberg needs the ice time to improve HIS game. I think he could benefit from a day with CBJ goalie coach as the schedule permits.

I would think (but not know) that the Jackets could waive him and if not claimed they could send him down. Only way they couldn't is if he has a NMC which I seriously doubt.

But I don't think they keep him up when Bob returns. I think they want him playing more than he would if he stays up. My guess is they are saying we are pretty much out of it this year, let's take this opportunity to see what we have in Korp before Bob comes back.
