Disappointing. Knew this would be a shellacking after the 2 quick goals to start the second. Just didn't think it would be the Jackets getting killed.

Oh hey Ryan, nice to see you hit one with a minute left into a 6-2 game... but hey if it gets him to try harder and out of this funk then so be it....

Frustrating night but hopefully we learn our lesson and give Colorado all they can handle plus more..

10 points back now for those still watching the playoff standings

The win streak hasn't made me any more optimistic of our chances.
1: Yet another terrifying start
2: Only 2 dominating games (in my own judgement) over the win streak
3: Most of our goals on an unsustainable PP %
4: Bottom 6 not playing the role of energy, and not producing much other than what I can produce in the bathroom after a terrible taco night
5: Top lines can't produce when they are appropriately matched by the other team, which brings us back to #4
6: Members of our fanbase are hopeful, which brings us back to "CBJ". (Maybe I'm biased given how many years I've stuck around. Team always finds some way to disappoint)
7: Player regressions and/or injuries. Where is the "pesky" from Calvert? Where is that agitator/fighter/not-useless from Boll? Where is the cannon from Wiz? Where is the stalwart from Prout? Where is the small scorer in Cam? We hit a lot but our hits are not hard and often in our own zone. What happened to the forecheck?

-Consider me a pessimist if you will. I don't like talk and swagger over walk and swagger.

Thank you. Don't mess with tv outside of watching netflix, but did look into Center Ice. It was my understanding that CBJ games would be blacked out. I would watch the Western Conference a lot, but I'm not going to buy Center Ice if I can't get CBJ games.

I understand why rights owners want to protect their film and sports properties, but if someone's got a stream rocking...

Hope the Jackets can make Mike Smith work hard tonight. He's having a tough season.

Don't you live in Clintonville? Jackets aren't blacked out on Center Ice in Columbus as long as it's on FSOH, which every game is save for 1 on NBCSN.

It's a rule every professional player should know. You can't have two sticks in your hands at any point. That's Joey's fault.

Is that a rule? I've seen many a player pick up the goalie stick and hand it to the goalie, whilst holding their own stick.

Tyutin was awful tonight in his own end, by my count he was on the ice for 3 goals against. His soft play in front of the net was very costly, letting guys stand around and chop at the puck in front of our own goal cost us this game. I've never been a fan of his game, I would play Leopold over him, but we know that's not going to happen...

I think this road trip and this month of mainly road games, will be the nail in the coffin. We gained 1 pt on the playoffs by going 10-1-1. We are finished, you can't be the worst team in the league for 2 months and dig out of it.

The only sliver of hope is we have 4 games in hand on Toronto and 3 on Boston

Well, they pretty much played like they've been playing, only difference is Bob couldnt stand on his head. Its why you still need to add to this team, they're not that good. Neither is Arizona, but theyre 1000x better at passing then we are

@AlisonL cited the following rule, which seems correct to me:

He pretty much threw it to Bob from the top of the faceoff circle. It was the correct call.
