May ray has so much skill, but has the hockey iq of a walnut.

That's not the way I saw it at all. His d-partner was open and he had time to get the puck to him but decided to try and beat the forechecker 1-on-1 instead.

And there's nobody but Phaneuf to blame for him just inexplicably not skating at all to get back to the net in case of a rebound. Which of course there was, scored by the guy he could have been covering had he hustled at all.

Remember the icing last night ? Gardiner has to stop these mistakes if he is to continue playing the big minutes.. The play last night caused the faceoff in the Leafs end and without being able to change to have Phaneuf out there, Crosby scores a goal and again a play caused a goal.
