Relax. Raymond essentially tossed him a grenade. Nothing he could have done with that.
May ray has so much skill, but has the hockey iq of a walnut.
That's not the way I saw it at all. His d-partner was open and he had time to get the puck to him but decided to try and beat the forechecker 1-on-1 instead.
And there's nobody but Phaneuf to blame for him just inexplicably not skating at all to get back to the net in case of a rebound. Which of course there was, scored by the guy he could have been covering had he hustled at all.
