Two points this team should have from Carolina so far. Could be an issue.

Dobby is simply not NHL caliber.

Spooner has looked better but that defensive effort in ot was joe morrow-esque

To the people blaming the goalie here, he kept us in the game. We only scored 2 goals, again. This is on the coach for going into a defensive shell to protect a 2-1 lead.

Maybe Bergeron shouldn't dump and chase in 3 on 3 overtime? Just a thought. His idiotic play this year is deafening.

We win this game with Rask in net. Not necessarily a good thing

Dobby is trash, but Rask also saves this team's behind almost nightly. Having a non-elite goalie out there really shows a lot of their flaws.

Im Australian& new to this sport, but this game might turn me away. This ****ing side is so stupid, so unsophisticated & just plainly amateur that I can't bare it. Why the **** can't we close out games? Why the **** are we conceding goals on the PO? Why the **** do we run out of gas and look scared & rudderless?

Sack the coach. This dour not lose at all costs style is taking us nowhere. What a disgrace.

I wonder if its even like physically possible for this group of players to score 5 goals in one game, when I look at out of town scores and see 6-7 goals I just think its magic or something.

The wild scored 7 tonight on 21 shots like how?

Why was Rask not in net? Don't tell me the playing back to back cause that does not cut it. The Bruins either gotta do a major trade or simply FIRE Julien.

Khudobin isn't NHL caliber, play and simple. He doesn't keep this team in the game. He never makes a big save. He lets in savable shots far too often. He'll be all done soon.

The only thing going for the Bruins right now is none of the teams below them are doing anything either.

Now 3 days off and NO practice on Tuesday when they fly to Columbus day of the game.

:help:

I have found myself thinking that the league has gotten boring.

Nope, it's just this team.

I put NHL tonight on this morning and there were lots of out of town games with scoring and some good fights. This team is just a bore.

I 100% agree. How many times have we seen this? Bruins play so poorly with a lead and I have to put that on the coach.

He faced a whopping 23 shots and not many of high caliber. All 3 goals were stoppable. His rebound control sucks and he's very shaky.

Yeah, what's the matter with him letting in 2 goals in regular time.

The problem with Dobby tonight was not merely that OT goal, but he was very lucky the Canes shots were so off tonight. He was beat several other times and reacted way too slow but the shots missed. He looked shaky a lot. The Bs are far enough into the season to realize this is not going to work out well.

And yes I realize the offense is a glaring problem. You simply have to have a decent backup goalie to take care of business when the offense is so anemic. It's such a thin margin between winning and losing in the NHL that you cannot afford to have a goalie on the roster that plays as crappy as Dobby has most games this year.

How on earth did our goalie keep us in that game. We dominated the first 40 mins of that game. I'm not blaming Dobby but god he needs to make a timely save.
