Did anyone else besides me catch Rimer saying something to the effect of "and the Blue Jackets have gotten a point in 12 straight games now!"

HUH!?!?!?

Could be 12 straight home games.

edit
Didn't listen so he probably did say it but meant 12 straight home games. I went and checked out the scores and they do have points in the last 12 home games.

That's why signing Test Tube is a good move...far more valuable than Brass or RJ, both who should be in Jarmo's trade discussions (yes I know Brass scored and I have liked Brass - just no longer a long term fit).

Nikitin and Prout making me proud. Those guys took a bouncing puck and managed to set up Letestu. Pretty good for a couple of stone hands- big bodied pluggers.:sarcasm:

Great finish by Letestu, but even better play by Nikitin to control the wild pass from Prout before send the cross ice pass.

Not that it matters but I rewinded it, he said "and they extend their point streak to 12 games.'' No mention of it being a home streak. Gotta love Rims!

OK if it was that then understandable...but he left out the 'home' word, lol. And if he did, I missed it....too excited :)

I re edited my previous post but I'll say it again here. I'm sure he said 12 straight games but meant to say home. He's probably just as excited as you were. I did go back and check the scores for the last 12 home games and yes in the fact they do have points in al of those 12.

This game is over.

Why in almost every close game do we have posts like this? When are people going to learn that the Jackets aren't destined by divine providence to lose?

Edit: The quoted post is from the third period, BTW. Put a sarcastic smily by your post if it's meant in humor. That or I will flame you for having a losing attitude in the middle of a tied game.

If Bob did this for ten years he would be the greatest goalie of all time, so no. But his play could regress a fair amount and he'd still be one of the league's best.

Was always a fan of St Patrick, so I would love to have a St Bob here in Columbus.

While I like the scoring out West, this style fits this team much better - even when it means long droughts.
