With his 8th goal of the season, Mailloux takes the lead in goal scoring for rookie defencemen passing Brandt Clark. He also caught up to Olen Zellweger with 22 points, tied for second in rookie defencemen scoring in the AHL.

Solid rookie year for him so far and he seems to be getting more and more comfortable.

He has offensive upside through the roof.

Love Hutson but Mailloux being a step closer and excelling could give him the nod.

But who cares. We have both. We need a goal late? We have the luxury of putting them both on at the same time. Fun as hell to watch
